Little Star Sparkling
|

We purchased Little Star Sparkling as a three year old from Sharon Scheikofsky of Caballos de Destino. The story of Little Star's birth is an unusual one. She was born at the original home of the Horse of the Americas, The Wild Horse Research Farm in Porterville, CA. The ranch consisted of horses that SMR and HOA founder Bob Brislawn had gathered to study and preserve. Each stallion ran with his own individual band of mares. Little Star's dam, Little Thing, belonged to the stallion Four Lane. However, another stallion Tiger Eye, was a crafty one. He stole Little Thing away from Four Lane! Four Lane was eventually reunited with his mare but she was already in foal to Tiger Eye.

Little Star Sparkling inherited her sire's wonderful tempermeant and beautiful color and her dam's refinement. She was the dam of our two stallions Yellow Thunder and Pucsinwah (both now deceased) and granddam to our current stallion Dancin' Fire. Her contribution of old HOA Foundation blood as well as 100% Bookcliff blood has given us a wonderful foundation to cross on our East/West stallions.
